I got to check something off my bucket list recently and the photos are so amazing that I just had to share! Even though I’ve lived in Florida for a while and I’ve visited several times before I lived here, I never had watched the sunrise from the beach. When we first moved here we had a beach side room and watched it from the balcony, but it was on my bucket list to watch it actually FROM the beach so watch it from the beach we did!
A couple of weeks ago, we stayed at Palm Coast for a few days to enjoy some delicious food at Mamalings, cruise A1A and get some beach time in. One of the mornings we were there we got up early and went down to the beach to watch the sunrise and it was such a beautiful experience and it was one I will never forget! I thought it would also be a good time to find some bigger shells on the beach, but even though we were there before sunrise, I think we got there too late for that.
The two photographs in the gallery below were taken from the exactly same spot just three or four minutes apart and it’s crazy how different they look and how fast the colors change!
The next thing I would like to check off my bucket list is to watch the sunrise on one coast and the sunset on the other coast in the same day. Have you ever done it? Where did you start from and where did you end? Let me know in the comments!
